Grant Mama was inspired by the need to see under resourced non profits and creatives get funded.
Hi! I’ m Jasmine and I’m the founder of Grant Mama. But Grant Mama isn’t ME at all, it’s a philosophy. We believe in creating a more accessible, welcoming, empathetic grant writing resource for marginalized, under resoured people. Grant Mama’s vision is to nurture a community where creative voices are empowered, funded, and celebrated.
Throughout my work in the arts, non profit management, and entrepreneurship there was a consistent theme: there was always a lack of resources and funding to make projects sustainable. Furthermore, most people who are in position to help people with this problem were charging astronomical prices or were not truly giving people personalized advice on how to improve.
Building on my foundation as a Music and Psychology double major at Mills College, I started applying to my own grants and helping people in my community with their proposals. I studied all the resources I could find about grant writing and became quite skilled.
Since then, Grant Mama has worked with over 200 entrepreneurs and has secured over $500,000 for clients to date. We offer not only intellect but also heart, with the objective to ensure that each client has handcrafted, award-winning proposals.
With Grant Mama, you’ll have a teammate who believes in helping you maximize your impact with excellence. Come join the Grant Mama roster and get the funding you deserve!
